Effroyable Sphère
04:16
|
|||
Under the firmament
We pray our deity
The one that’s within reach
The one we ought to be
Will we ever get bored
When there’s so much to see
And how would we get lost
Sailing an endless sea
Our only task is to break,
Grind, cut and scrape
From the pieces to create
Draw, sculpt and shape
Extract the simplest wisdom
From a delicate cut
As deep as you can fathom
Through thick fluids and guts
Under the glance
Of galaxies
The night is full
Of promises
For every line we cross
Is traced under our skin
For every bridge we burn
The ashes lie within
Now walk with us mother
Your ferocious beauty
Gifts us with the power
To claim our destiny

Funeral Orbiter
04:06
|
|||
We would break the marble floor
Find what’s lying beneath
Dig the dirt conscientiously
With broken nails and teeth
We cultivate a garden
Of terrifying fruits
Praying the distant Sun
To cauterize the roots
Bitterly we’d crack the throne
Of a decaying God
Carving the mummified bones
Casting giant shadows
Beyond the stratosphere
Awaits the bleak answer
Bodies thrown upon gears
Funeral orbiter

A Graveside Story
05:41
|
|||
For too long we’ve been carving
A bottomless cave
Passing on the suffering
Of filling up graves
From the clay cast again
On a planet of apes
What are we but contrast
Blown into shape
Shameful offspring of Cain
Eternal shapeshifter
Neither really the same
Nor another
We corrupted from the seed
The gift of transience
With the unquenchable greed
For existence
